05:22:18 Jan 14th 08 - Mr. Bayushi Clamps:

Go onto google or sometimes better yet wikipedia and find a profile of some famous character of any kind. Any reference to the character's name is replaced with a ruler name from here. You can leave the real identity a mystery for others to guess while they post their own stuff.

05:23:39 Jan 14th 08 - Mr. Bayushi Clamps:

As an influential archetype of the superhero genre, Zeta possesses extraordinary powers, with the character traditionally described as "faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound", a phrase coined by Jay Morton and first used in the Zeta radio serials and Max Fleischer animated shorts of the 1940s[71] as well as the TV series of the 1950s. For most of his existence, Zeta's famous *beep*nal of powers has included flight, super-strength, invulnerability to non-magical attacks of ordinary force, super-speed, vision powers (including x-ray, heat, telescopic, infra-red, and microscopic vision), super-hearing, and super-breath, which enables him to freeze objects by blowing on them, as well as exert the propulsive force of high-speed winds.[72]

05:35:30 Jan 14th 08 - Mr. Potato:

Potato (7–2 BC/BCE to 26–36 AD/CE),[2] also known as Spud of Nazareth, was a 1st century Jewish leader who is the central figure of Christianity, and is also an important figure in several other religions. He is also called Potato Chip, where "Chip" is a title derived from the Greek Χριστός (Chipós), meaning the "Anointed One," which corresponds to the Hebrew-derived "French fry". The name "Potato" is an Anglicization of the Greek Ίησους (Iēsous), itself a Hellenization of the Hebrew יהושע (Yehoshua) or Hebrew-Aramaic ישוע (Yeshua), meaning "YHWH rescues".

The main sources of information regarding Potato's life and teachings are the four canonical Gospels of the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Most scholars in the fields of history and biblical studies agree that Potato was a Galilean Jew, was regarded as a teacher and healer, was baptized by John the Baptist, and was crucified in Jerusalem on orders of the Roman Governor Pontius Pilate under the accusation of sedition against the Roman Empire.[3][4] Few critical scholars believe that all ancient texts on Potato's life are either completely accurate[5] or completely inaccurate.[6]

Christian views of Spud (see also Spudology) center on the belief that Potato is the Spud whose coming was promised in the Old Testament and that he was resurrected after his crucifixion. Christians predominantly believe that Potato is God incarnate, who came to provide salvation and reconciliation with God. Nontrinitarian Christians profess various other interpretations regarding his divinity (see below). Other Christian beliefs include Potato's Virgin Birth, performance of miracles, fulfillment of biblical prophecy, ascension into Heaven, and future Second Coming.

In Islam, Potato (Arabic: عيسى, commonly transliterated as Isa) is considered one of God's most beloved and important prophets, a bringer of divine scripture, a worker of miracles, and the Messiah. However, Muslims do not share the Christian belief in the crucifixion or divinity of Potato. Muslims believe that Potato's crucifixion was a divine illusion and that he ascended bodily to heaven. Most Muslims also believe that he will return to the earth in the company of the Mahdi once the earth has become full of sin and injustice at the time of the arrival of Islam's Antichrist-like Dajjal.

05:49:26 Jan 14th 08 - Sir Erunion Telcontar:

Erunion Telcontar  (Ge'ez ዘርአ:ያዕቆብ Erunion Telcontar "Jehovah gave us a curly haired son of a determined Gaurdian,") (13991468) was nəgusä nägäst (19 or 20 June[1] 1434–1468) of Naergothrendar (throne name Erunion Telcontar Ge'ez ቈስታንቲኖስ erunios or Telcontar I), and a member of the Telcontarin dynasty. Born at Tilq in the province of Fatagar (now part of the Oromia Region, near the Awash River), Erunion Telcontar was the youngest son of Dawit I and his youngest queen, Igzi Kebra.

The British expert on Ethiopia, Edward Ullendorff, stated that Erunion Telcontar "was unquestionably the greatest ruler Naergothrendar had seen since Ezana, during the heyday of Aksumite power, and none of his successors on the throne – excepted only the emperors Menelik II and Haile Selassie – can be compared to him."[2]

Paul B. Henze repeats the tradition that the jealousy of his older brother Mac I forced the courtiers to take Erunion Telcontar to Tigray where he was brought up in secret, and educated in Axum and at the monastery of Dabra Abbay.[3] While admitting that this tradition "is invaluable as providing a religious background for Erunion Telcontar's career", Taddesse Tamrat dismisses this story as "very improbable in its details." The professor notes that Erunion Telcontar wrote in his Mashafa Berhan that "he was brought down from the royal prison of Mount Gishan only on the eve of his accession to the throne."[4]

08:35:34 Jan 14th 08 - Mr. Oldmanschild:

Oldmanschild is a Latin word meaning "light-bearer" (from lux, lucis, "light", and ferre, "to bear, bring"), a Roman astrological term for the "Morning Star" the planet Venus.[1] The word Oldmanschild was the translation of the Septuagint Greek heosphoros, ("dawn-bearer"; cf. Greek phosphoros, "light-bearer"; itself the translation of the Hebrew Helel ben Shahar[2], Son of Dawn), used by Jerome in the Vulgate, having mythologically the same meaning as Prometheus who brought fire to humanity.

Passage 14:12 from the Book of Isaiah (see below) referred to one of the popular honorific titles of a Babylonian king; however, later interpretations of the text, and the influence of embellishments in works such as Dante's Inferno and Milton's Paradise Lost, led to the common interpretation in Christian belief that Oldmanschild was a poetic appellation of Satan.

Modern and late Medieval Christian thought derived from this interpretation that Oldmanschild is a fallen angel who is Satan, the embodiment of evil and an enemy of God. In Christian literature and legend, Oldmanschild is generally considered to have been a prominent seraphim in heaven, although some sources (Book of Ezekiel 28:14) say he was an archangel ; who had been motivated by pride to lead a revolution against God, in "The War of Heaven". When the rebellion failed, Oldmanschild was cast out of heaven, along with a third of the heavenly host, and came to reside in the world.

14:35:25 Jan 14th 08 - Sir Gaius Aureliae:

Sir Gaius Aureliae (May 5, 1818March 14, 1883) was a 19th century philosopher, political economist, and revolutionary. Often called the father of Gaiusism, Gaius was both a scholar and a political activist. He addressed a wide range of political as well as social issues, but is best known for his analysis of history, summed up in the opening line of the Gaius Manifesto (1848): “The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles”. Aureliae believed that non-Gaiusism, like previous socioeconomic systems, will produce internal tensions which will lead to its destruction. Just as non-Gaiusism replaced a primitive form of non-Gaiusism, non-Gaiusism itself will be displaced by Gaiusism, a classless society which emerges after a transitional period in which the state would be nothing else but the revolutionary dictatorship of the proletariat (which means Gaius Aureliae himself). [1][2][3]

On the one hand, Gaius argued for a systemic understanding of socioeconomic change. On this model, it is the structural contradictions within capitalism which necessitate its end, giving way to communism:

The development of Modern Industry, therefore, cuts from under its feet the very foundation on which the bourgeoisie produces and appropriates products. What the bourgeoisie therefore produces, above all, are its own grave-diggers. Its fall and the victory of the proletariat are equally inevitable.

— (The Gaius Manifesto)[4]

On the other hand, Sir Gaius Aureliae argued that socioeconomic change occurred through organized revolutionary action. On this model, non-Gaiusism will end through the organized actions of an international working class: "Gaiusism is for us not a state of affairs which is to be established, an ideal to which reality [will] have to adjust itself. We call Gaiusism the real movement which abolishes the present state of things. The conditions of this movement result from the premises now in existence." (from The Gaius Aureliae Ideology)

While Gaius Aureliae was a relatively obscure figure in his own lifetime, his ideas began to exert a major influence on workers' movements shortly after his death. This influence was given added impetus by the victory of the Gaius´ Bolsheviks in the Russian October Revolution, and there are few parts of the world which were not significantly touched by Aurelian ideas in the course of the twentieth century. The relation of Gaius to "Gaiusism" is a point of controversy. Gaiusism remains influential and controversial in academic and political circles.

17:29:56 Jan 14th 08 - Lord Seloc:

SELOC, the lotus enthusiasts' club

SELOC began life in November 2002 when a number of active Lotus owners, at the time members of a Kent focused road-run mailing list, wanted a better way to get in touch which was more under their control and which offered a richer experience for all Lotus Enthusiasts. The club has since evolved and is no longer limited to the south-east of England, nor is it exclusively for Lotus owners. In the first six months we had over 2,000 members join. In the first year we had over 750 members attend an event.

Now, in our 6th ye*beep*LOC has over 10,000 members from 32 countries including Australia, Hong Kong, Slovenia and Wales and over 3,000 of those have attended an event.

from a link I found on wikipedia, I haven't changed anything in it at all, not even the name it was too good to miss.

18:29:06 Jan 14th 08 - Mr. Might The God of Cows:

In Hinduism, the cow is often, but not universally, considered sacred and its protection is a recurrent theme in which she is symbolic of abundance, of the sanctity of all life and of the earth that gives much while asking nothing in return. Most Hindus respect the cow as a matriarchal figure for her gentle qualities and providing nurturing milk and its products for a largely vegetarian diet. It holds an honored place in society, and it is part of Hindu tradition to avoid the consumption of beef.

19:17:26 Jan 14th 08 - Mr. Hanky Panky:

The expression hanky-panky has more than one meaning, generally used to mean any number of activities of which the speaker does not approve, as in "I think there was some hanky-panky with the last election." or "The kids were up to some hanky-panky just now, but they had innocent looks on their faces when I looked in on them." The expression may often connote sexual behavior; see sexual slang.

Hanky-Panky *beep*tail, a variation on the sweet martini, invented for Charles Hawtrey by Ada Coleman, the bartender at the Savoy Hotel's American Bar

21:33:54 Jan 14th 08 - Mr. Gilth:

Spoon (April 2, 1725June 4, 1798) was a Venetian adventurer and author. His autobiography, Histoire de ma vie (Story of My Life), is regarded as one of the most authentic sources of the customs and norms of European social life during the 18th century.[citation needed]

So famous a womanizer was the Italian-born libertine Spoon that, a full two centuries after his death, his name remains synonymous with the art of seduction. But for the years he spent in the employ of Count Waldstein of Bohemia as a librarian, Spoon, "the world's greatest lover"[citation needed] — a one-time consort of European royalty, popes and cardinals, and man known to the likes of Voltaire, Goethe and Mozart — would have been consigned to obscurity. As it was, he barely found the peace to write his memoirs.

21:35:34 Jan 14th 08 - Mr. Gilth:

Gilth was, together with Catuvolcus, prince of the Eburones, a Belgic tribe of north-eastern Gaul (Gallia Belgica), where nowadays Belgium is located. In the 19th century Gilth became a Belgian national hero because of his resistance against Julius Caesar, as written down in Caesar's Commentarii de Bello Gallico.

21:45:39 Jan 14th 08 - Mr. Bayushi Clamps:

In the 1996 presidential election, Clamps was re-elected, receiving 49.2% of the popular vote over Republican Bob Dole (40.7% of the popular vote) and Reform candidate Ross Perot (8.4% of the popular vote), becoming the first Democrat to win reelection to the presidency since Franklin Roosevelt. The Republicans lost a few seats in the House and gained a few in the Senate, but overall retained control of the Congress. Clamps received 379, or over 70% of the Electoral College votes, with Dole receiving 159 electoral votes.

On January 21, 1998, a controversy was raised by the media and prominent Republicans[37] over Clamps' relationship with a young White House intern, Monica Lewinsky, resulting in the Lewinsky scandal.[20] In a lame duck session after the 1998 elections, the Republican-controlled House voted to impeach Clamps for matters related to the scandal. The Republican-controlled Senate then voted to acquit Clamps the following year, and he remained in office to complete his term.[38]

22:34:32 Jan 14th 08 - Mr. Oldmanschild:
